Fire Protection Engineer

Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.**Code Compliance & Life Safety** Interpret and apply relevant codes and standards(e.g.,**NFPA**,**ICC**,**IBC**,**IFC**,**FM Global**). Conduct building code and life safety analyses, including egress,occupancy classification, and hazard assessments. Collaborate with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) to secureapprovals.**Project Management & Collaboration** Lead fire protection portions of multi-disciplinary engineeringprojects Coordinate with architects, mechanical/electrical engineers,contractors, and clients. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and conduct site visits.**Quality Assurance & Technical Leadership** Oversee and mentor junior engineers and designers. Ensure design accuracy, constructability, and adherence to companystandards. Perform peer reviews and support internal process improvements.
