These positions will provide comprehensive project controls oversight and leadership for Department of Energy initiatives, working onsite at one of the nation's premier research facilities. The successful candidates will lead project planning, scheduling, cost management, earned value management, and performance analysis activities in accordance with DOE project management requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in project controls for mid-level; 8+ years for senior-level positionsDemonstrated working knowledge and application of DOE Order 413.3B (Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets)Extensive experience with project scheduling using Primavera P6 or equivalent softwareStrong background in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and analysisProven experience in cost estimating, budget development, and financial analysisAbility to lead project controls activities and mentor junior staffExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsSuperior written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior managementAbility to obtain and maintain DOE security clearancePreferred Qualifications10+ years of experience supporting large-scale DOE or federal government projectsProfessional certification (PMI-SP, EVP, PMP, or equivalent)Experience with DOE capital asset projects and Critical Decision (CD) processKnowledge of additional DOE Orders, federal acquisition regulations, and compliance requirementsExperience with risk management and contingency analysisFamiliarity with construction project controlsAdvanced proficiency with project controls tools and reporting systemsMaster's degree in related fieldExperience in nuclear or research facility environmentsDemonstrated leadership in developing project control procedures and best practicesHukariAscendent offers an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.HukariAscendent is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
