This is a unique opportunity to apply your hands-on security expertise to frontier AI — working on datasets and evaluations that directly shape how AI reasons about cloud security incidents, misconfigurations, and risk. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns Review and assess IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world business impact Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents unfold Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI security intelligence Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production Strong familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts Experienced with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents Able to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and downstream business impact Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, etc.) Background in incident response or cloud penetration testing Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, or NIST Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Apply deep security expertise to a genuinely novel and impactful challenge Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
