Systems Engineer – Regional Strike ProgramsPittsfield, MA Up to $49.00/hourPosition OverviewSeeking a Systems Engineer to support Regional Strike Programs, working on cross-functional teams delivering hardware, software, and integrated defense systems. This role supports system development, requirements management, integration, and validation activities across advanced defense platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport system design, development, and integration activitiesPerform hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testingDevelop and manage system requirements and documentationSupport Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities including modeling and simulationsAssist with hardware integration, troubleshooting, and system analysisCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the system lifecycleRequired Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field2+ years of relevant experience, ORMaster's degree with 6 months of experienceUnderstanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and system modelingPreferred QualificationsExperience with MBSE tools and requirements management toolsExperience in test & integration engineeringAgile development experienceClearance & RequirementsActive DoD Secret clearance preferredMust be eligible for U.S. Government security clearanceU.S. Citizenship requiredWork EnvironmentOn-site in Pittsfield, MAOccasional hybrid flexibility availableWhy Join CPI?For over 40 years, Contract Professionals, Inc.
