Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established company located north of Boston. The Senior Accountant will be hands-on in all general ledger accounting and get involved in complex areas within fixed assets, variance analysis, and budgeting. The Controller is targeting a driven Senior Accountant with GAAP accounting, fixed assets, and intellectual curiosity to join the team. Responsibilities:Perform month end close activities (journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, etc.) High-volume fixed-asset accounting (depreciation schedules, purchases, disposals) Analyze P&L and expense variances Contribute to annual audit procedure Ensure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are met Play a key role in implementing new ERP system Support the Controller with ad-hoc projects as needed Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of complex GAAP accounting experience Intermediate to advanced Excel Experience with processes improvements and systems implementations Excellent analytical and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
