Job Overview Shriners Children's Lexington has an opportunity for a full time Certified Medical Assistant!Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.Responsibilities:Responsible for helping facilitate the flow of patients in the Medical Office of the ACC. This includes assisting the physicians, obtaining data from the patients and their families and entering that data in the EMR, answering questions of and assisting ancillary personnel, as well as providing care under scope of practice.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Required:HS diploma/GEDCertificate as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required within 6 months of employment.BLS within 6 months of employmentPreferred:3 years medical assistant experience3 years pediatric experienceCertification by the American Heart Association (AHA)Shriners Children's is an EOE/Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.
