What You’ll DoCoordinate and oversee the development, maintenance, and analysis of key measurements and other relevant data indicators, risk factors, and service utilization data. Responsible for moderate to complex data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Respond to requests from Department/Bureau staff for population data and reports. Provide advanced support and assistance to one or more supervisors or professionals.Coordinate and maintain datasets, KPIs, and performance/risk indicatorsExecute moderate-to-complex data collection, cleaning, and validationAnalyze data, interpret findings, and produce clear, actionable reportsRespond to internal stakeholder requests for data, ad-hoc analyses, and visualizationsSupport process improvement efforts using data-driven recommendationsAssist supervisors and team members with technical analyses and reporting tasksEdit and reformat written or electronic drafts, transcribe reports or similar material as neededMinimum QualificationsGraduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree is requiredTwo (2) years of data analysis or directly related experience is required, OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipIf extended an offer, candidates will be required to produce original required documents (for example: current driver’s license, diploma, school transcript, certifications, etc.) within five (5) days of receiving a written offer. Degrees awarded outside the United States (with the exception of those awarded in U.S. territories and Canada) must be credentialed by World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) member organization.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSkill in executing moderately complex data collection, synthesis, analysis, reporting, and developing recommendations where analysis is often procedural and straightforwardAbility to collaborate with team members and entry-level management to ensure accuracy and precision in analysisKnowledge of procedural analytical practices and ability to adapt to new methodsExperience using data to drive measurable process improvementsAbility to edit and reformat written or electronic drafts and transcribe reports from voice or handwritten draftsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and AccessPreferred (not required) keywords/skills often associated with success in this role:Data analysis, reporting, data visualization, dashboardsSQL, data querying, Power BI or TableauStatistical analysis, trend analysis, KPI developmentPhysical RequirementsSedentary work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
