This role supports operation by maintaining shipping schedules, verifying documentation manual and electronic, and communicating effectively with internal and external teams.PURPOSE:The purpose of the Shipping Coordinator is to proactively plan and coordinate scheduled shipments to ensure customer demand is met, and to accurately process and complete all required manual and electronic shipping documentation to support compliant, efficient, and on-time delivery.KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintaining shipment visibility and schedule accuracy to support operational continuity.Ensuring all required paperwork is complete, complaint and properly filed both manual and electronic.Coordinating with production, lab, transportation and customer service teams to align shipment readiness and timing.Accurately input data into Calumet ERP system, SAPEnsure full compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:High school diploma or GEDMust comply/adhere to all safety policies and proceduresMust be able to work any shift and overtime as needed.Must be able to score satisfactory on pre-employment assessmentPREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervisionPrior Microsoft Office programs, SAP, and JDEdwards experienceCOMPETENCIES:Strong analytical, statistical, math and computer skills.Self-motivated and detailed-orientedExcellent written verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the companyAbility to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team environmentFoster positive work relationships and is a solid team playerDemonstrates excellent organizational and communication skillsDemonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks and deadlinesDemonstrates operational structure, works within defined systemsDemonstrates accountability, accepts responsibility for outcomesDemonstrates ownership, taking initiative and personal responsibility for tasks from start to finishDemonstration of Calumet Values - Safety, Environment & Social Responsibility, Teamwork, Ownership, Passion for Customers, and ExcellenceSalary and benefits commensurate with experience.
