Software Engineer InternshipThis is a high-impact internship where you'll write real code, ship features, and see your work in production.Note: This is an in-office role, 5 days a week in San Francisco.What You'll DoInvestigate and troubleshoot real customer issues across frontend and backend systemsWork closely with customers and internal teams to diagnose bugs, performance bottlenecks, and reliability problemsBuild internal tooling and dashboards to improve debugging, monitoring, and operational workflowsHelp monitor production systems and support incident response effortsAssist engineers in identifying root causes and shipping fixes quicklyBuild and maintain components for high-performance web applications using React and Next.jsCollaborate with engineers to integrate APIs, real-time systems, and observability toolingImprove UI/UX by building responsive and user-friendly interfacesSupport performance optimization efforts across rendering, caching, and latencyWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews, team discussions, and product developmentQualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)Familiarity with Next.js or willingness to learn quicklyStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsComfortable investigating technical issues and working through ambiguous problemsBasic understanding of APIs, async programming, and web fundamentalsExposure to full-stack development through projects, coursework, or internshipsStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and teammatesEagerness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environmentNice to Have Experience with backend development (Python or Node.js)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)Experience with observability or monitoring toolsFamiliarity with databases (Firebase, Supabase, or similar)Interest in AI, real-time systems, infrastructure, or voice technologiesWhat You'll Gain Real-world experience debugging and operating production systemsHands-on exposure to customer-facing engineering and issue investigationMentorship from experienced engineersExperience working with modern infrastructure, observability, and AI systemsOpportunity to make meaningful contributions to a fast-growing companyOur Tech StackFrontend: React, Next.js, TypeScriptBackend: Python, microservices, async systemsCloud & Infra: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, RedisDatabases: Firebase, SupabaseObservability: Datadog, logging, metrics, tracing
