The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing advanced data models and AI solutions that drive our clients’ digital transformation efforts. You will work at the intersection of data science and cutting-edge AI technologies, contributing to impactful projects in the financial industry and beyond.Additional Information*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $115K - $120K/year & benefits (see below).The RoleResponsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data-driven business needs and translate them into effective analytical solutions. Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models, including LLMs, RAG, and other AI algorithms, to solve complex problems. Implement data analytics pipelines using Python, Pytorch, TensorFlow, and related tools to process and analyze large datasets. Experiment with and optimize new AI models and techniques to improve performance and accuracy. Communicate insights and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science to continuously enrich project solutions.Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Pytorch and TensorFlow. Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and other AI/ML techniques. Solid understanding of data analytics and data preprocessing best practices. Experience working with cloud platforms and deploying AI models in production environments is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
