Company: MCL Systems LimitedOur company, provides state of art telecom Billing and OSS software solutions, named Cadebill and Ganges, used by telecommunication companies of all sizes around the world.Location: Manassas, VA (Onsite) Experience Level: 5+ Years Job Type: Full-TimeRole Description: MCL Systems Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Manassas, VA. The Senior Software Engineer has a strong background in building and maintaining web applications using the Microsoft technology stack, will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, with a focus on back-end systems and application architecture. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance across services and databases. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust technical designs, while mentoring less experienced team members and contributing to best practices and coding standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Manassas, VA, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and participation in in-person meetings and technical discussions.Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET Core• Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript• Implement and maintain UI components using the Kendo Framework• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, design, and product to deliver high-quality software• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the full stack• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices• Communicate project status, technical decisions, and issues clearly to team members and managementRequired Skills & Qualifications• 5+ years of professional software development experience• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server (query writing, stored procedures, performance tuning)• Experience working with large, complex databases, including query optimization and performance considerations at scale• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript• Hands-on experience with the Kendo Framework (Kendo UI)• Strong understanding of full-stack web application architecture• Good written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an onsite team environmentWork LocationThis is an onsite position based in Manassas, VA.
