This role will support inspection processes, CMM programming, and quality system initiatives while working closely with production to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities : Program and edit CMMs using PC-DMIS based on model-based definitions and engineering drawingsDevelop and maintain work instructions for CMM setup and inspection processesEnsure proper measurement techniques are used in alignment with GR&R results and customer requirementsSupport First Article Inspection (FAI) process including documentation and part trackingPartner with production to troubleshoot and resolve quality issuesParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for non-conformancesPrepare and maintain documentation related to AS9100, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and SPCSupport calibration systems and ensure measurement equipment is maintained properlyTrain team members on measurement equipment and inspection techniques as neededQualifications : Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or dimensional inspection within a manufacturing environmentStrong experience programming CMMs using PC-DMISAbility to read and interpret blueprints with solid understanding of GD&TExperience with quality systems and tools including AS9100, PPAP, FMEA, and SPCExperience handling customer quality issues such as CARs or RMAs is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate inspection results clearly
