Apply today to join our mission of ending homelessness for the youth and young adults in our community.Waypoint's Homeless Youth and Young Adult Program of Manchester, NH is in need of a Full Time Shelter Supervisor. The Shelter Supervisor is a critical leadership role responsible for the day to day functioning of the Young Adult Emergency Shelter. This includes but is not limited to setting a tone and culture that is Positive Youth Development focused, emotionally and physically safe, and meets the needs of homeless youth and young adults (YYA) in a crisis-oriented, low barrier manner to the best of our ability. The right candidate will be a positive advocate or coach to the shelter staff team by facilitating regular individual supervision with each staff member including reflective supervision, ongoing skill-building, annual evaluations, ongoing support and professional development planning.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in a Human Services FieldA minimum of 3 years of related experience (lived experience and expertise are looked upon favorablyStrong Communication and Leadership Skills with the ability to have uncomfortable conversationProfessional with the ability to develop positive relationshipHigh Level of Organization skillSelf motivated, Passionate, bold and courageousComputer Skills and Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel is required.
