Information Technology Project Manager

Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.The IT Project Manager will oversee all aspects of corporate projects and leverage project management skills to work with business leaders, business analysts, and technical expert resources to coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and within scope, while ensuring a high level of communication is given to senior leadership with status updates.Essential Duties And Functions Include The FollowingCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityWork with management teams to ensure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesMeasure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededManage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize potential risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationMeet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each projectDelegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levelsTrack project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goalsMeet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysisAttend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiencySupport user acceptance testing (UAT) on development efforts prior to launch to identify any potential gaps in functionality and usabilityEducating, coaching, and mentoring organizational staff and leaders on project and portfolio management conceptsThis position will include job duties that require risk designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of their job responsibilitiesOther duties as assignedCompetenciesPlanning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.RequiredBachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with equivalent experienceMinimum of four (4) years as a Project ManagerFormal training and/or certification in project management practices.Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional work teams toward task completion, including effective leadership and analytical skillsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to travel as needed to support corporate projectsPreferredCertification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)Minimum of four (4) years of experience within the Pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) spacePrevious experience working within an IT Division and understands enterprise level IT aspects, including: Agile methodologies, software development, infrastructure system administration, and database management.Experience with multiple project methodologies, including Agile for software developmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
