Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical RF Engineer, that can lead the design of electronics, interfaces, firmware, and products for commercial, space, industrial, and military applications. You will serve as a technical lead/SME with real influence over engineering direction and company growth. Responsibilities include system design, prototyping, integration, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for junior staff. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.This is a full-time, on-site position in Fulton, MD.ResponsibilitiesLead circuit design, PCB layout, and electrical subsystem developmentDrive projects from concept through testing and qualificationDesign, prototype, integrate, troubleshoot, and test hardware systemsDevelop technical documentation, reports, and test proceduresProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersSupport client discussions, design reviews, and technical presentationsParticipate in off-site testing and field support activitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field9+ years of relevant engineering experienceExperience with RF systems and SDR platformsExperience with embedded systems and firmware developmentProficiency with C/C++ and/or PythonExperience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or OrCADStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with embedded platforms, microcontrollers, SBCs, and SoMsPrior technical leadership experienceAdditional InformationCandidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance.BenefitsCompetitive PTO and paid holidaysHealth reimbursement benefits401(k) with company contributionShort- and long-term disability coveragePaid training and career developmentOpportunity to make a direct impact within a growing engineering team
