Administrative AssistantA manufacturing company in Jackson is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Administrative Assistant.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Administrative Assistant Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 to $ 22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Serve as front-desk contact: greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, manage inbox inquiriesPerform clerical duties (copying, scanning, filingdigital and physical)Maintain accurate data entry across spreadsheets and internal systemsManage office supply inventory and place orders as neededGenerate and track inventory tags and records for manufacturing materialsHandle basic social media or email communications professionally.Accounting SupportAccounts Payable:Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices.Match invoices to receiving documents.Resolve discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.Accounts Receivable:Generate and send customer invoices.Track payments and follow up on overdue accounts.Human Resources SupportAssist with recruitment: job postings, resume screening, background checks, interview scheduling.Coordinate onboarding: prepare new-hire packets, orientation, and IT setup.Maintain confidential employee personnel files (paper and digital).Support payroll processing and attendance/leave tracking.Respond to basic employee questions regarding benefits.Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR compliance documentation is complete.Administrative Assistant Qualifications:A minimum of 12 years of administrative (HR) experience required.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - required.QuickBooks - preferred.Strong written and verbal communication.High attention to detail and organization.Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Applicant may be subject to a background check*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
