The USPS securityclearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in theU.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows:U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) forlonger than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meetcertain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S.(including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively inthe last 3 years.List of tasks to be performed:Develop software requirement specification (SRS) documents tosupport functional requirements affecting the technical filespecifications (Mail.dat and Mail. XML).Manage, update, and maintain all currently supported technicalspecifications and guides and develop new ones as necessary insupport of new or revised functionality across systems.Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) to provide support to reviewTechnical Requirement Documents (TRD), develop and update testscripts, perform customer acceptance testing, perform productionvalidation through smoke testing and functional testing, documenttesting outcome and provide artifacts, provide TLSC documentationand Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).Provide expert personnel to meet with and participate in mailindustry meetings/forums and Mailer Technical Advisory Committee(MTAC) workgroups, task groups and user groups.Development of performance metrics to track and report status ofCustomer Acceptance Testing.Automated test script developmentDevelop training materials, Standard operating procedures (SOP) andguides as it relates to impacted CPPP applications.Other related duties as assigned.Required Experience Level:Minimum of 5-7 years' experience, in technology or softwaredevelopment preferred.Experience eliciting and documenting business process andrequirement.Experience creating manual and automated test scripts, performingcustomer acceptance testing or user acceptance testing; documenttest results, and providing test artifacts.Experience performing production validation through smoke testing,regression testing, and functional testing; document test results,and providing test artifacts.Experience working with data files and formats such as CSV, XML,JSON; and relational databases.Experience with MS O365 tools: MS Excel, Word, Project, Visio,Access, WorkflowHands-on knowledge of scripting language such as SQL, Java, Python(optional)Experience with API Testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, orsimilarExperience with software test management using Agile and/orWaterfall methodology.Experience using automation toolsSoftware Testing certification is preferred.Preferred Experience:Mail.DAT and Mail.XML are fundamental to the electronic dataexchange of mailing information. Experience with Mail. DAT, andMail.
