Custom Applicator/Truck Driver
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Custom Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and effectively applying pest control solutions, fertilizers, and other treatments across various agricultural sites. This role requires a strong understanding of land management practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate a variety of farm machinery and Semi Truck. The position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the health and productivity of our clients’ land.
Responsibilities
Safely operate farm machinery for application processes
Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other treatments accurately according to safety protocols and client specifications
Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate application methods and schedules
Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are clean, calibrated, and functioning properly
Follow all safety guidelines related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and environmental protection
Keep detailed records of applications performed, including quantities used and locations treated
Drive company truck to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards
Experience
Prior experience in spraying pest control, farming, or agriculture
Knowledge of pest control methods, land management practices, or horticulture is desirable
Hands-on experience with land application equipment or farm machinery preferred
Familiarity with the use of power tools, and driving large vehicles or equipment
Experience working outdoors in agricultural or landscaping environments is beneficial
Ability to operate safely with various tools and machinery required for effective application processes
CDL preferred
Applicators License preferred
