CNC Controls Engineer

Akkodis, Inc. is seeking a full-time direct hire CNC Controls & Integration Engineer for a role with a growing aerospace company near Mason, OH. The CNC Controls Engineer is responsible for analyzing, controlling, modifying, and executing programs in CNC machine controllers. Qualifications include 10+ years of experience within CNC environments, along with 3+ years in CNC controls and programming.Salary Range: $95-120K per year; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factorsThis is a great opportunity to work with a growing and leading company offering strong benefits and paid time off!CNC Controls and Integration Job Responsibilities Include :Define electronic control requirements, support CNC equipment upgrades, and ensure protection and integrity of programming/dataSupports integration of new machinery and electronic systems across the manufacturing environmentAnalyze, modify, and execute CNC machine controller programsSupport Fanuc CNC integration, repair, and maintenanceWork with PLCs, ladder logic, servo systems, VFDs, and digital/analog systemsPerform diagnostics and maintenance on CNC, PLC, and robotic systemsDefine and support electronic control requirements for CNC equipmentAdvise internal teams on equipment/tooling requiring electrical interfaceCoordinate CNC controller programming with IT systemsSupport installation and integration of new equipmentTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issuesMaintain data integrity and backup systems for CNC programmingCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and skilled tradesFollow all safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement effortQualifications:8+ years of relevant hands-on experience in CNC equipment, along with 3+ years in CNC programming and controls (Fanuc preferred)Create Windows applications, CNC motion programs, and upgrading CNC machines on the floorAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics2D CAD (AutoCAD) required; 3D CAD preferredExperience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and computer systemsHands-on experience building/repairing manufacturing equipmentCNC machining experience (1+ year preferred)Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilitiesU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident requiredWillingness for occasional travelIf you are interested in this hybrid full-time direct CNC Controls Engineer in Mason, OH, please click APPLY NOW.
