The position supports the daily technical operations by helping to ensure equipment is functional, accurate, and properly documented. The technician will work closely with the supervisor and team to support diagnostics, inventory, and repairs. Work is hands-on and may involve time in the shop and in the field.All individuals selected for this position are required to undergo drug and alcohol testing in accordance with US Department of Transportation regulations.Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In PositionEnrollment in electronics, engineering, computer science, or related technical fieldBasic understanding of electronics principles and toolsPrevious experience with wiring, soldering, or working on vehicle systems is a plusFamiliarity with Windows-based programs and hardware setup/troubleshootingKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Physical DemandsLift up to 50 poundsWork in tight or elevated spaces on buses and in maintenance areasUse of hand tools and electronic testing equipmentOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsDriving as needed for job dutiesHave minimum 5 hours work availability during morning hours per week.Is this a Position of Trust?
