HVAC Mechanical Technician

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activitiesExperience with boilers, chillers, variable frequency drives. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipmentRespond to Emergency maintenance requestsInspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and replacements on equipmentUtilize computer-based work order systemOff-hour emergency dutiesPerform Preventative Maintenance on controls, pumps, heating, ventilation, and related equipmentOther duties may be assignedSKILLS & ABILITIES:Good understanding of HVAC, BAS, or other control systemsMinimum 2 pus years of Commercial HVAC/R experiencePossess outstanding customer service skills and attitudeVery familiar with pneumatic controls and steam componentsBasic computer knowledgeBuilding Automation Experience is a plusMust have current HVAC and EPA608 Universal LicenseValid Driver's License Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word and ExcelStrong basic math skills Strong customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skillsEDUCATION:Technical School HVAC Training.
