Job DetailsJob LocationVirginia Office - Fairfax, VADescriptionThe Coating Inspector shall possess knowledge and skills relating to the application of protective coatings to pipeline, fabricated piping, Steel infrastructure. job tasks include but are not limited to: Testing, evaluating, remediation and installation of cathodic Protection systems.Maintain detailed field notes and provide field level assessment to inspection results and recommendations.Organize and review data gathered, prepare charts and tables.Provide technical assistance to other divisions.Inspect visually for obvious defects.May act as Quality Control Department, maintaining all quality records for facility or jobsites.Verifies that all materials used in the performance of the job assignment are in compliance with the client company requirements.Assures that all specifications and safety standards are adhered to.Records and reports materials usage and waste.Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in Industrial Construction or a related field. Strong knowledge of coating regulations, and industry standards Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or deviations from project specifications Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate findings and recommendations Ability to work independently and make decisions based on established guidelines and regulationsOversee all aspects of industrial coatings in-field quality assurance operations, including cleaning and protective coating application.QualificationsCertifications would be preferable, not required:VDOTWACELACI
