Low-Voltage Program Manager

We are seeking a high-performing, strategic Program Manager to oversee a comprehensive physical security program for a major healthcare system in Maryland. This program spans 10 hospital campuses and associated facilities, delivering both large-scale capital project installations and ongoing maintenance/service.In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for the health system’s leadership, ensuring operational excellence, contractual compliance, and high client satisfaction. You will directly lead and mentor a dedicated team, including two Project Managers (PMs) focused on security installations, and a dedicated Service Department responsible for rapid-response maintenance and system uptime.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Client LeadershipPrimary Stakeholder: Serve as the strategic partner and main point of contact for the health system’s security, facilities, and IT leadership.Health System Alignment: Ensure all project delivery and service operations align with hospital regulations, Joint Commission standards, and HIPAA guidelines.Financial Oversight: Manage the overall program financials, including project forecasting, service and project margins, and resource allocation.Team Management & DevelopmentProject Delivery Oversight: Directly manage and mentor two Project Managers, guiding them through project lifecycles, resource scheduling, and budget management for all physical security installations.Service Department Leadership: Oversee the Service Department (Coordinator, Supervisor, and Field Technicians) to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for system repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency service calls are consistently met or exceeded.Technical & Operational ExcellenceSystem Integrity: Oversee the installation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise-grade physical security systems (including Access Control, CCTV/VMS, Emergency Call, and Infant Protection systems).Quality & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols and quality control standards across all 10 hospital campuses, minimizing disruption to active operational environments.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience:Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Project/Program Management (preferably within the electronic security integration industry).At least 3 years of experience managing projects/programs specifically within a healthcare or hospital environment.Demonstrated experience directly managing people (PMs, service coordinators, or field technicians).Technical Knowledge:Familiarity with enterprise physical security platforms or other low voltage technologiesSkills:Exceptional leadership, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, and WIP tracking).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for hospital administration.Credentials & Education:PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.Local Travel Only: Ability to travel regularly to hospital sites across Maryland as needed.
