Manufacturing Janitor/ Housekeeper

Day Shift available: 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days & off 3 days) every two weeks you will be schedule to work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the other.Job SummaryTo ensure cleanliness of the manufacturing facility always maintaining a “tour ready” facility.Essential FunctionsResponsible for housekeeping and appearance of site offices and common areasMaintain the cleanliness of the floors by vacuuming and moppingCollect and dispose of all trash from plan floor, offices, restrooms and common areasClean the building restrooms on a regular basis, ensuring soap, towels and toilet paper are availableDust desks and shelves weekly in all offices and common areasProvide maintenance support for outside grounds as necessaryOther duties as assigned to maintain the work environment & productionEnsuring cleaning materials are stocked and replenished Preferred QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED Cleaning in a manufacturing environment Work RequirementsWearing personal protective equipment, following safety rules, and reporting unsafe conditionsAdhering to health and safety requirementsUnderstand and comply with all lockout/tagout proceduresStrong attention to detail with the ability to communicate and follow verbal instructionsMust possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn and have good attendanceDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general details of the essential responsibilities being performed in the job.
