We consider our clients as part of our family.The Junior Financial Advisor provides support to the advisory team, clients and overall firm by helping to manage client relationships and actively participating in the advanced planning process. As a key member of the service team, you will anticipate needs, resolve problems, and follow through on agreed upon deliverables. You will provide consistent, accurate and timely results with research, meeting preparation, meeting attendance and note-taking, reporting, analysis, as well as input and management of the financial plan.You will follow the highest standard of business and professional ethics, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. You are an excellent communicator that can grasp others needs and develop remarkable ways to fulfill them. You can move through your work efficiently while recognizing that the detail work in our business is critical. You have enough experience and/or common sense to know that the first answer isn’t always the right one and you are incredibly resourceful and thoughtful in all your interactions. This role is ideal for those who wish to develop client advisory skills under the guidance and mentorship of an experienced advisory team.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining proactive client contact and providing on-going client serviceEngage and support clients through the data collection processOrganize, analyze, research, review and prepare data for financial planning analysisProduce detailed client road maps, presentations and analyses for meetings with clients and prospects using a combination of systemsResearch complex situations, set client expectations, and define the actions to resolve inquiries in a timely mannerAssist the advisors in the preparation of upcoming client meetings; attend meetings for notetaking and follow upAssisting with analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investment portfoliosConducting investment research, reporting, and analysisOnboarding of clients in accordance with firm proceduresResponding to all client communication within our company guidelinesIdentifying opportunities for existing client growth and development, including nurturing family relationshipsOther duties as assignedQualifications3+ years of experience within securities or related industry experience required; preferably in client facing capacity (support roles included)Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related fieldSIE, Series 7 and 66 (or combination of 63 & 65) securities license(s) requiredAdditional designations are also a plus (FPQP, CFP®, etc.)Excellent follow-through and communicationEditing and writing skills to initiate, compose, format, proofread and carefully edit various professional business documents and correspondenceStrong time management skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work assignments and deadlines efficiently despite frequent interruptionsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate in a pleasant, tactful and effective manner (both orally and in writing), and to handle difficult, sensitive issuesAbility to analyze situations, define problems and/or objectives, identify relevant factors, formulate logical conclusions and suggest alternative solutionsAble to work independently with limited direct supervisionCRM Software experience required; Salesforce knowledge highly preferredIndustry-specific software/platform experience preferred; LPL, SchwabGeneral knowledge of Financial Planning SoftwareAdvanced Technology Skills and use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
