Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE.Job Title: Network & Cloud EngineerJob SummaryeNGINE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network & Cloud Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises data centers and cloud environments.This role requires hands-on expertise in networking, systems administration, cloud platforms, and automation, along with a strong focus on reliability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and experience managing complex, multi-vendor environments.Key ResponsibilitiesData Center OperationsManage and maintain on-premises data centers and remote data closets, including cabling, power, cooling, and connectivityOversee data center asset management and software/license lifecycle managementCoordinate and manage relationships with carriers and vendorsImplement and support infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response processesNetworkingDesign, configure, and support enterprise networking environments across multi-vendor platformsManage routing and switching infrastructure with a focus on performance and reliabilityDeploy and support SD-WAN solutions, including diverse circuit implementationsAdminister and support the Cisco Meraki suiteVoice & CollaborationSupport and maintain Cisco Unified Communications platforms, including:Call Manager (CUCM)Contact center solutionsManage and troubleshoot SIP trunking environmentsCloud & SystemsAdminister and support Microsoft Azure environments, including resource deployment and ongoing managementManage Microsoft Active Directory, including identity and access controlSupport hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises and cloud environmentsAutomation & DevOpsDevelop and maintain automation solutions using:Python, PowerShell, or BashImplement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as:Ansible, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM)Streamline repetitive operational tasks and improve deployment efficiencySecurityImplement and support zero-trust security architectureEnforce identity-based security controls across systems and applicationsDesign and maintain network segmentation strategies to protect critical infrastructureRequired QualificationsExperience: Hands-on experience in network, server, and cloud administration and supportEducation:Associate degree in Information Technology (or related field) and 8+ years of relevant experience, orBachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related field) with industry experiencePreferred QualificationsIndustry certifications such as:Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)ITILOr equivalent certificationsTechnical Skills & ExpertiseStrong expertise in:Enterprise networking (routing, switching, SD-WAN)Cisco Meraki technologiesMicrosoft Azure and Active DirectoryCisco Unified Communications and SIP technologiesExperience working in multi-vendor and hybrid environmentsFamiliarity with automation, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practicesKnowledge of modern security frameworks and best practicesSoft SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong organizational and time management skillsWork EnvironmentHybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises data centers and cloud platformsInteraction with cross-functional teams, vendors, and service providersOccasional after-hours support for critical incidents or maintenance
