Astute Business Solutions is an Oracle Cloud and PeopleSoft consulting firm based in Dublin, CA, Astute is currently looking for an offshore consultant for the following role.Job Title: Apex Developer (Offshore)Location: RemoteDuration: Contract to hire- at least 20 hrs. per weekPay Range: $18-$20 per hr. depending on experienceJob Description We seek a highly skilled and experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our team. This role requires proficiency in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and front-end development technologies. The successful candidate will be pivotal in building and enhancing responsive, scalable, and robust enterprise applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance applications using Oracle APEX with a strong focus on usability and performance.Expertly write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts.Design and implement user interfaces using front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure seamless functionality across all applications.Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional software solutions.Continuously improve existing applications for better user experience and efficiency.Document technical procedures and user guides for new and updated software.Adhere to best practices in database and application security.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle APEX development.Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL programming.Demonstrated experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive design.Ability to manage projects independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with RESTful and SOAP web services.Familiarity with Oracle DBA activities and performance tuning.Knowledge of Oracle Cloud infrastructure and services is a plus.Experience in Agile development methodologies.Interested candidates should send their resumes to: HR@beastute.com Astute Business Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
