As a Controller, you will drive financial excellence and accuracy, and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or BusinessMinimum 10 years experienceDetail-oriented, self- motivated, proactive, discreet, and trustworthyHight level of attention to detail with ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks within set deadlinesPrior experience working for or with a family office is a plusSkillsHigh proficiency of Excel, Word, and Apple productsExcellent proficiency in QuickBook ProDetailed knowledge and experience of estate planning vehicles such as Family Partnerships and TrustsResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly investment reports.Current Investment monitoring including weekly reports on tracked equities and short-term investmentsMaintain Cash flow projection for current and future year.Tax liaison with outside accountant- Review and assist in preparations of estimated tax payments and tax returns and maintain summary reports of accounting fees.Management of debt/credit facilities both internal and external.Cash flow management- coordinate with team members to ensure that appropriate accounts are funded.Prepare and execute transfers as well maintain periodic cash and transfer schedule.Manage distributions from various partnerships and Trusts including calculation, execution and reconciliation.Management of banking brokerage relationship.Assist and facilitate securities trading.Monthly reconciliation of bank and brokerage accounts in multiple entities.Interact with family members concerning personal expenditures, investments and cash flow needsInvestments:Keep weekly stocks grids updated and printed of Owner's filesTrack all activities in multiple brokerage accountsHelp manage investments by being up to date on the market and forecasting and working with BrokersHandle banking and brokerage relationships and transactions with Owner's various financial institutionsWork with Accountant to prepare for and execute estimated tax payment and yearend tax returnsHandle banking transactions with Owner's daughterAccounting:Managing approximately 16-18 General LedgersComplete and file all payroll reportsDetailed report creation and maintenance for budget, loans, scheduled payments, transfers and investmentsKeep multiple files and reports up to datePay: $102,000.00 - $123,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
