Machine Operator

*Job Title:* Machine Operator *Job Location:* Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 *Max Pay:* $19/hr. W2 +$ 1 shift diff. *Shift: *2nd Shift, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM *(*Mon –Fri) *Job Summary:* The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating shop equipment, maintaining equipment according to established procedures, and supporting reliable product and service delivery. The position involves following operating procedures, participating in safety and production meetings, identifying equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement activities. *Main Responsibilities:* * Operate machinery and equipment safely and according to established procedures. * Perform routine maintenance and basic equipment checks. * Maintain equipment and report problems, defects, or deviations. * Participate in pre-job and toolbox safety meetings. * Support maintenance activities and ensure equipment is ready for operation. * Identify opportunities to improve productivity and service delivery. * Participate in equipment failure investigations when required. * Follow company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. * Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operation. *Qualifications:* * Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. * Willingness to learn and follow established procedures. * Ability to safely operate machinery and shop equipment. * Ability to perform basic maintenance and identify equipment issues. * Strong attention to safety and quality. *Work Environment:* * Climate-controlled manufacturing/shop environment. * Work areas can become warm during the summer because machinery generates significant heat. * PPE and safety procedures must be followed as required.
