This is a hands-on leadership role operating heavy equipment, managing an on-site dig crew, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations. Responsibilities: Responsibilities of a plumbing dig crew lead: Operate backhoe and excavation equipment for sewer, water, and gas line repairs or new installationsBreak and remove concrete and prepare job sites for excavationAssist plumbing technicians during on-site repairs and installationsRemove old sewer lines and verify proper line flow before job completionBackfill excavated areas and restore job sites, including cleanup and seeding as requiredLead and manage the on-site dig crew to ensure work is completed to scope and quality standardsObtain customer approvals for work performed and completedMaintain, fuel, and stock the service vehicle and equipmentTransport equipment, materials, and tools; track tool usage and inventoryComplete required job documentation and process customer payments when applicable Qualifications: Requirements of a plumbing dig crew lead:3-5 years of sewer and water line repair and new installation.
