Job Title: BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL - BUSINESS ANALYST ILocation: Kinder Morgan Building - Houston, TX 77002 (hybrid, so must be local)Contract: 12+ months (Possible Extension)Requirements specific to this role:- Able to work an 8 to 5, or 9 to 6 schedule M-F (position will be a hybrid of remote and in-office)- Home office space with limited distractions (including office equipment - monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset, web-cam)- Experienced with CRM systems, Microsoft Office programs like Excel/Word, SQL (preferred but not required)- Strong written/verbal communication skills- Ability to work with teammates and autonomously- Keen attention to detail- Intermediate or advanced analysis/critical thinking skills- Experience with issue resolution- Strong time management/prioritization skills (work is fast paced and highly time sensitive)- Adaptable to processes or systems changes- Able to provide a positive service experience to internal stakeholders (the role is internal/Ops and not customer facing)- General: Takes initiative, flexible, willing, positive attitudeNotes from previous call with manager:- This role is hybrid with up to 1-2 days in the office each week, so candidates must be locaL- Looking for an analyst to join the C&I Billing team- Will be addressing internal/external customer inquiries- Must have proficient experience with Office programs and preferred to have experience with SQL and PowerBI- Preferred that they have retail energy experience, energy experience or experience with EDI Transactions- Education: Bachelors or a combined total of 4+ years of post grad education and experience- Professional written and verbal communication- Customer Service Orientation- Keen attention to detail
