Senior Citrix Engineer

Sr. CITRIX Engineer - 10 + years of Citrix and Design experience, Security+ and ClearanceLocation: Miami or LosAngeles - (Hybrid)As the Senior Citrix Engineer, the individual will maintain and manage Citrix applications. The administrator will also install and update Citrix farms, design and plan Citrix NetScalar environments, and develop the cloud infrastructure that the Citrix farms run on. In this role, the Citrix Engineer will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other interruptions. In addition, the Citrix Engineer will provide tiers I, II, and III support to Citrix XenDesktop (VDi) environments, including configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in both Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments while investigating hardware and software problems related to the Citrix infrastructure, and perform corrective actions.This is a Hybrid role located in Miami, FL, or Los Angeles, CA.ResponsibilitiesPerforms all aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of all production Citrix systemsSupports applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructureMakes architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environmentsMaintenance, monitoring, upgrading, troubleshootingDaily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in CitrixAdministration on Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance, updates, and upgradesConfigures, deploys, monitors, and maintenance of VDI tasksFollowing vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configurationDraws upon concepts of tools, technologies, and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned dutiesHas technical knowledge and depth in maintaining MS Operating SystemPerforms other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting officeRequired Qualifications/Education and ExperienceMust have a Secret Security clearance or higher, and be eligible for Top-Secret clearanceMust have a valid Security+ CertificationCertification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platformsMinimum 10 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments.Must have hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations, Citrix management tools like Director, and especially RCA preparationMust have hands-on experience in ITIL processes, Incident management and change management, StudioExperience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScalerExperience in Building and configuring Citrix FarmsExperienced with deployment of servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environmentWorking knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platformsMust have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higherOSC Edge delivers a total rewards package that we know will attract, engage and retain top talent.
