CNC Operator
Under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager and Production Supervisors, complete basic operation of hand, power tools, and CNC machinery in addition to conducting general cleaning of a work area. Roechling is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our stable, growing team. Unlike traditional "greasy" machine shops, we offer a clean, coolant-free environment focusing on high-quality plastics and composites. While we utilize specialized CNC router equipment, we value general machining expertise. Whether your background is in mills, lathes, or routers, if you have a strong grasp of CNC fundamentals, our veteran operators will provide the specific training needed to master our equipment.Setup & Operation: Independently set up and operate CNC router equipment according to production schedules.Material Management: Load raw materials (plastics/composites) and monitor machining cycles to ensure optimal tool paths and finishes.Technical Troubleshooting: Perform basic G-code program edits and offset adjustments to maintain part integrity.Quality Assurance: Use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to inspect parts against blueprints and "Work in Process" (WIP) standards.Finishing: Deburr parts and perform final quality checks to ensure a professional, burr-free finish.Shop Stewardship: Maintain a safe, organized workspace and assist with general cleaning and tool maintenance.
