CNG Specialist Supervisor NEX

Detailed DescriptionThe Supervisor, Operations NEX leads operational activities related to the maintenance, startup, and performance of Power Solutions CNG assets. This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, troubleshooting issues, and supporting field operations while maintaining high safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee safe and consistent maintenance of permanent and portable CNG equipmentMonitor and inspect equipment, tools, hoses, and parts for replacement needsTroubleshoot equipment issues and ensure systems are operationalCoordinate rig-up and rig-down activities, including transportation of equipmentSupport field operations through site visits, maintenance, and service callsMonitor gas lines for leaks and ensure system integrityPerform and oversee equipment repairs and restart operations after shutdownsMaintain inventory of spare parts and materialsLead and participate in onsite safety meetings and enforce safety complianceAct as a key onsite point of contact for operations and issue resolutionJob Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and instrumentation knowledgeExperience with automated control systems (MDT knowledge preferred)Hands-on experience with piping, HVAC, or similar systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead by example in safety and operational excellenceStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh level of professionalism, work ethic, and safety mindsetMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required1+ year of relevant experience (CNG, fuel, or related industry preferred)Valid Driver's License requiredPreferred Certifications* Industry training in Natural Gas Compression or related OEM programs* Technical certifications in mechanical or electrical systemsAdditional Details (Working Conditions & Physical Demands)Working Conditions: 100% travel required. Exposure to outdoor environments, extreme weather, and high noise levels. Exposure to hazardous conditions, including chemicals, moving equipment, and confined spaces. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, crouching, and reaching. Repetitive hand movements and manual dexterity are required. Medium physical work level required. Respirator fit test required.
