This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site audits, leading incident investigations, and fostering a strong safety culture across the jobsite.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister project safety programs and ensure compliance with company, owner, and OSHA requirementsConduct routine jobsite safety inspections and auditsLead accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actionsFacilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programsManage workers' compensation reporting and onsite administrationMaintain safety documentation, training records, and compliance reportingAssist with hazard analysis and risk mitigation effortsAdminister First Aid, CPR, and AED response when necessaryPromote a proactive, safety-first culture across all project teamsQualifications5+ years of building construction safety experience7+ years of overall construction safety experience preferredCurrent OSHA 500 or OSHA 502 certificationCurrent First Aid, CPR, and AED certificationStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practicesExperience with fall protection, excavation, scaffolding, confined spaces, crane operations, and incident investigationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual English/Spanish preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and digital documentation platformsWhy Join?Established and respected Texas commercial contractorStrong backlog of higher education, healthcare, and research projectsFamily-oriented culture with long employee tenureCommitment to professional development and career growthOpportunity to make a direct impact on project success and workforce safety
