These projects involve large structural pours and high-rise commercial construction with an established Central Pennsylvania builder known for major developments including housing, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional facilities.This role is ideal for finishers who can lead placement operations, maintain finish quality under production conditions, and execute complex structural concrete work.Benefits & PTO (TradeWorX)Health coverage options; eligibility typically begins after 60 daysDental and vision options401K optionCompany-paid group life insurance (10K)Paid holidays after eligibility requirementsPTO earned by hours worked (5 days after 1560 hrs; 10 after 4680 hrs)Pay & ScheduleUp to $32/hour based on experience40+ hours per week with flexed overtime based on project phaseLong-term opportunity across multiple commercial projectsWork schedules vary based on jobsite conditions and concrete placement timingProjects will begin in AprilCore ResponsibilitiesBuild and set complex concrete forms for slabs, walls, columns, and structural poursPerform high-quality finishing: screed, float, hand trowel, power trowel, and edge workControl elevation, slope, and flatness (FF/FL requirements where applicable)Identify and correct pour issues including bleed water, cold joints, and surface defectsCoordinate placement with pump operators, laborers, and carpentersLead small crews during placement and finishing operationsAdvanced Skill ExpectationsRead construction plans and accurately Client out formworkExecute large slab pours and structural placementsTroubleshoot mix behavior, curing conditions, and finish timingMaintain finish quality under production schedulesWork safely and efficiently in high-volume commercial environmentsTools & Equipment KnowledgeScreeds (hand and laser)Bull floats and fresnosPower trowels (walk-behind and ride-on)Edgers, groovers, jointersForm panels, walers, ties, stakesConcrete vibrators for consolidationRequirementsAdvanced experience in commercial concrete finishingAbility to read construction drawings and layout workMust have associated concrete finishing hand toolsReliable transportation to State College area jobsitesPreferred CertificationsOSHA 10LocationState College, PA regionMultiple commercial projects across Central PennsylvaniaHow to Apply:Apply now.
