The objective is to remediate risk leveraging that tool. They need the solution supported using their experience, and identify where the issues, gaps, risks and put that into an action plan to take to remediation. The client is seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure deployment, automation and experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). A keen interest in data security is essential, as you will be instrumental in implementing secure and scalable infrastructure solutionsThis resource will partner with different teams in the organization to accomplish certain tasks.This lead position will be an individual contributor to lead projects and have an oversight into the client's MSP.This resource should have a basic technical background in IT and information security to understand OSI model of networking, cryptography and IAM. From a process perspective, they should understand regulatory in compliance requirements in the data at large.ResponsibilityStructure and unstructured data connectors, structure data stores, data classification to find out where the risks are, connect to where unstructured data stores to change the regex will be key to this position.Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and on-premise.Develop and maintain automated scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management and application deployment.Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.Implement horizontal and vertical scaling strategies to handle varying workloads and traffic demands.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and data security.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner. Some of the solutions this resource will use is (new platform). Someone who is versed in would be nice to have.
