Android Developer

Location: Greater Los Angeles Area, CA Positions :Denver, CO and Wilmington, DE, Multiple positions across the states Duration : 6 to 18 months Duties & Responsibilities: We are seeking a strong Android developer to work for our client in the Los Angeles area as a key member of their Core Platform Team. As part of the Mobile Software Engineering Group, you will develop apps that enrich our client's customer experience through features including OTT Content Delivery, Mobile Streaming, Video on Demand, Interactive Services, Recommendations, Dynamic Ad Insertion, and many others. Participate in architecture and development of cutting edge systems & applications Develop Android based application and frameworks Design and develop highly response, and multithreaded apps Review requirements, UX designs and translate them into product development plans and schedules. Conduct technology research; conceptualize ideas into prototype and products; coordinate or manage development efforts. Qualifications: Required : BS in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years experience and strong understanding of Java and Android SDK Experience working with Android SDK components such as Activities, Fragments, Intents, Layouts, and others Comprehensive understanding of REST/JSON/XML Web Services Experience with multithreaded software design and working knowledge of the general mobile software design patterns, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Desired: Ability to prioritize tasks based on objectives and deadlines Ability to work independently with effective time management in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Ability to work across teams and with remote teams Education and Experience BS in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years experience and strong understanding of Java and Android SDK Additional Eligibility Qualifications Ideal candidates for this position will have multiple apps released in the Google Play Store, and the ability to share work samples!!
