In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of invoicing, ensuring that billing processes are completed accurately and on time, and contributing to the overall financial health of our company. Your work will be crucial in providing accurate financial information and maintaining the integrity of our billing operations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")Process and record bills and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Utilize Open Invoice, Ariba, or GEP Smart systems for efficient invoice processing.Collaborate with various departments to verify billing accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.Prepare and distribute regular financial and administrative reports.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records.Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.Position RequirementsSuccessfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and ask questions.Ability to adapt to and thrive in a fast-paced, expanding environment.Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or 5 years in a similar role outside of the industry.Experience with customer portals such as Open Invoice, Ariba, or GEP Smart.Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Familiarity with the financial regulations of the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.Education/Experience LevelBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred but not required).Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry or 5 years in a similar role outside of the industry.Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, And AbilitiesProven experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing processes.Proficiency in using customer portals such as Open Invoice, Ariba, or GEP Smart.Strong understanding of financial regulations, particularly within the Oil & Gas industry (preferred).Competence in preparing and distributing financial and administrative reports.Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward resolving discrepancies.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, expanding environment, with a willingness to learn and ask questions.QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT: (Promotions may occur only after the following qualifications have been satisfied.
