Outside Sales Consultant - The Texas Territory

The worldwide leader in insurance technology solutions is currently searching for an outside Sales Consultant in Texas to own and grow relationships within an assigned portfolio of existing customers. This role is responsible for retention, renewals, adoption, and expansion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your book of business, building account plans, aligning to customer goals and success metrics, and recommending solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.Success in this role requires a proactive, consultative approach and strong prospecting skills to identify and pursue growth opportunities within assigned accounts by expanding relationships, uncovering needs, and driving outcomes.This is a full-time, base plus commission role with an uncapped compensation structure! This role requires travel within an assigned geographic territory in southern Texas (ideally looking for someone who resides in and/or around Dallas, Austin, Houston or San Antonio) to support customer meetings, reviews, and key events throughout Texas.What You'll DoRepresent the company in customer meetings, business reviews, and select industry events to strengthen relationships and drive adoptionOwn customer communication cadence, ensuring timely follow-up on requests, action items, and opportunities across your assigned accountsDevelop and execute account plans that support renewals, retention, and growth; maintain an active pipeline of expansion opportunities across your assigned book of businessLead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and maintain accurate renewal forecasting by tracking account health, risks, milestones, and next steps in partnership with internal teamsProactively prospect within existing accounts (e.g., whitespace mapping, stakeholder expansion, discovery conversations) to identify, qualify, and close up-sell/cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs and usage trendsWe’re Excited to Learn More About You5+ years of successful B2B account management, customer success, or consultative sales experience required; must have demonstrated ability to prospect and drive expansion within an existing customer portfolio; SaaS experience and/or technology solution experience preferredExperience managing renewals, retention, and expansion motions (including negotiation and forecasting) preferredCustomer-first, highly organized, and able to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and stakeholders with strong follow-throughA valid driver’s license and safe driving record is requiredAbility to work 100% remotely, home office and reside in one of the following markets: Dallas, Houston, Austin or San AntonioTravel up to 50% within assigned territoryBachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience
