OpportunityPsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a licensed Physician to provide on-site medical services within a federally operated correctional healthcare setting at a Correctional Institution in Marion, Illinois 62959.The correctional facility operates comprehensive correctional institutions that provide healthcare services to Adults in Custody (AICs). This role supports the institution's Health Services Department by delivering direct medical care, conducting evaluations, and managing patient treatment plans within a secure correctional environment.LocationFederal Correctional Facility located in MarionScheduleApproximately 20 hours per weekTwo (2) days per weekMonday through Friday schedule (excluding Federal Holidays)48 weeks annuallyUp to 120 workdays per performance periodSchedule coordinated by the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive in-house medical care for the AIC populationPerform complete physical examinations and patient assessmentsCollect detailed medical and social historiesOrder and interpret diagnostic testingPrescribe treatment plans and medications as appropriateRefer patients to specialists or community hospitals when necessaryMaintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentationComplete all charting and documentation by the end of each workdayFollow all Federal Bureau of Prisons medical policies and institutional proceduresCollaborate with Health Services staff, Clinical Directors, and institutional leadershipEnsure compliance with accreditation standards and correctional healthcare regulationsMaintain professional communication and conduct within a correctional environmentQualificationsCurrent and unrestricted Physician licenseGraduate of an accredited medical programAbility to provide proof of education, licensure, certifications, and trainingExperience in correctional healthcare, primary care, emergency medicine, or internal medicine preferredStrong clinical assessment and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively within a secure institutional settingRequirementsMust be free of communicable diseasesMay be required to provide tuberculosis testing or immunization recordsMust maintain active licensure throughout the contract periodMust complete institution orientation and security trainingMust comply with all institutional security procedures and Privacy Act requirementsProfessional attire required (scrubs permitted)Work EnvironmentThis position involves frequent interaction with Adults in Custody (AICs) within a federal correctional institution.
