Social Media direct messaging BodegasCan you see yourself meeting people at these places and "selling" the OnTECH story?…………………The OnTECH StoryOne of the most unique high schools in New York State.  A year-round school where students can learn and earn money at the same time.  Located at 810 Willis Ave, serving the Syracuse inner city and surrounding county students.  OnTECH is chartered by the New York State Department of Education and has been serving the community since 2018. A tuition free school. Small classes with a student teacher ratio of 15-1.  Plenty of clubs and sports. Particularly suited for students who are eager to learn and not satisfied with traditional high schools.....................................What You’ll OwnYour role is closer to a community organizer/ recruiter than anything else. You’ll need to -Present OnTECH’s unique advantages, especially for SPED and ELL students Help them see if OnTECH is the right fit for their studentStay on them (in a good way) until the application is doneGet them through enrollment Make sure they actually show up for start of school....................................Where the Job is Week to WeekEffectively relating to and closely reporting to school administrationBuilding relationships with churches and youth groupsShowing up at festivals and where families already areHosting small, real events people actually attendBeing inside the school and outside in neighborhoods....................................Required Characteristics - someone who isFamiliar with charter school dynamics and SPED and ELL student needsStreet smart and school smart, social media savvyWilling to work nights, weekends, and be at all eventsIs enthusiastic with missionary zeal attitudeA college graduate (preferred)·....................................How You’re MeasuredSimple: by the students enrolled, who show up, and stay....................................Compensation$55,000 - 65,000 base with incentives based on performanceImmediate participation in health and 401k plans....................................The Bottom LineThere are students in Syracuse who will thrive at OnTECH.Their families just haven’t heard the story yet.Your job is to change that.…………………………………….If you read this and thought, “I know exactly how I’d go do this” — let’s talk
