Located in Louisville, KY, we are committed to fostering a supportive and motivating environment for our athletes and staff.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Louisville, KY, for a Strength and Conditioning Coach. The coach will develop and implement personalized strength and conditioning programs to improve athletic performance, focusing on areas such as strength training, injury prevention, and sports-specific fitness. Day-to-day activities include conducting fitness assessments, leading training sessions, monitoring athlete progress, and making program adjustments based on individual needs. The coach will collaborate with athletes, other coaches, and, when applicable, health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.QualificationsExpertise in Sports Science and Athletic Performance to design and oversee personalized training regimens following established Athletic Republic protocols utilizing proprietary equipment.Strong background in Strength & Conditioning, including knowledge of appropriate exercises and techniquesExperience in Injury Prevention strategies and Strength Training methods to ensure athlete safety and developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively coaching individuals and groupsBachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred)Certification such as CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or equivalent (definitely a plus) or working on obtainingExperience working with athletes of various ages and skill levelsPassion for sports, health, and fitness, with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
