We pride ourselves on the quality of our product and craftsmanship of our highly experienced staff.A Roofing Foreman will be expected to lead and manage roofing crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project completion. This role will coordinate with project management and serve as the primary point of contact on the job site.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSafetyRead, understand and be the resource regarding the GBR Corporation Safety & Hazardous Communication Policy .Lead daily morning huddles to communicate job site tasks and safety requirements.Collaborate with production superintendent and project managers to ensure safe and quality installation.LeadershipLead, motivate, and hold crew members accountable for productivity and performance.Train and evaluate performance of the crew members.Promote a respectful work environment and build trust within the team.Address complaints and be active in conflict resolution.Uphold GBR Corporation values with integrity and deliver a positive customer experience.CommunicationCommunicate effectively with roofing team, superintendent, office staff, customers, General Contractors, and building owners.Display sound and accurate judgement by supporting and explaining reasoning behind decisions and including the appropriate staff in the decision making process.Follow direction from project manager and superintendent as needed.Quality & SecurityPerform all roofing tasks per the manufacturer's and GBR Corporation's installation procedures and guidelines.Complete work in a timely manner and meet productivity goals while maintaining high-quality standards.Secure the jobsite and ensure valuable tools and materials are removed from the jobsite each day.The list of duties is not all inclusive and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.Benefits Include:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffTraining and Continuing Education OpportunitiesRequirementsRoofing Journeyman status requiredPrevious leadership experience in roofing preferredMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be physically fit enough to climb stairs/laddersFamiliar with time clocks, or have willingness to learnMust be eligible to work in the United StatesValid driver's license preferred
