Marketing Manager

Portfolio Marketing ManagerSilver Falls Capital is a Washington State-based holding company with a portfolio of operating companies building real products in transit infrastructure, construction tech, and critical asset protection markets that are growing, underserved, and not well-served by conventional marketing playbooks. This role sits within SFC's Digital and Growth team and reports directly to the VP/GM of Digital and Growth. We're in the middle of building a marketing-led growth engine across companies that have historically grown through relationships and technical credibility, not marketing. That's both the challenge and the opportunity. The Portfolio Marketing Manager is the execution backbone of that engine owning the partner network, the campaign infrastructure, the performance accountability layer, and the Growth Playbook that packages what works and scales it across companies. This isn't a role where you direct from a distance. The person who thrives here moves fluidly between running the program and doing the work and doesn't think of those as different jobs.Marketing Execution Program You own the project management layer between OpCo stakeholders and the external partner network prioritization, capacity allocation, and delivery accountability. You maintain execution velocity across a multi-company, multi-channel environment and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.Hands-On Execution When partners aren't the right fit, you step in and do the work yourself. You've executed across enough channels to do it credibly and hold others to the same standard.Growth Playbook Development You own specific Growth Playbook modules end-to-end: researching best practices, building the framework, piloting with an OpCo, iterating on results, and packaging for portfolio-wide rollout. You localize each module to the OpCo's market context, buyer profile, and commercial maturity.Performance Accountability You own the performance reporting layer: portfolio-level dashboards, regular reporting cadences with OpCo and SFC leadership, and the translation of data into concrete optimization decisions. You define what good looks like, track it consistently, and push for course corrections when results fall short.Marketing-Generated Revenue Ultimately, you're accountable for marketing-generated and marketing-influenced pipeline across the portfolio. What We're Looking For5+ years of B2B marketing experience spanning multiple disciplines including at least three of: SEM/paid media, SEO and content marketing, email and marketing automation, demand generation, or product/field marketingA demonstrated track record of driving marketing-generated pipeline and revenue, not just campaign activityProven experience managing agencies and contractors, and personally executing across channels when neededOwnership of marketing performance reporting and the ability to translate data into decisionsWorking fluency with martech platforms; Salesforce/MCAE (Pardot) experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication; effective with both technical and commercial stakeholdersComfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-growth environments without full org-chart authorityExpected BehaviorsTeamwork Matters Low ego, wins-or-fails-together mindset.
