This is an hourly, non-exempt position that starts at $19 - $24 per hour (dependent on experience). This position works 4, 10-hour shifts each week (that's 3 days off each week!!).
We are looking for individuals who are respectful, hard-working, have an eye for detail, work with a sense of urgency, and enjoy working outdoors! Experience in irrigation work is highly valued for this role!
Position Summary
Individually or as part of a crew, responsible for performing a range of property manual labor duties including, but not limited to, one or more of the following: property clean up, operating an aerator/spreader/seeder, sprinkler and irrigation work, parks maintenance, mowing, snow removal, and holiday decor. Provides service to residential or commercial customers by making timely lawn/landscape maintenance through service calls and other customer communications.
Position Description
Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls;
Gather and remove litter
Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches, using hand and power tools.
Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers
Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws
(Winter work) Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots, and spread salt in those areas
Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes
(Winter work) Install holiday lights to commercial and/or residential buildings using ladders and harnesses
Expected to have regular attendance for scheduled shifts, and to notify supervisor within a timely manner of absenteeism or tardiness
Maintain a neat and clean appearance as outlined in Senske's employee handbook.
Follow safety regulations and work in a safe manner

Must Haves
Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
Previous lawn care experience preferred
Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and as part of a crew
Able to solve and analyze situations and determine the appropriate resolution
Ability to manage time effectively
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills to understand and meet customer needs
