Description: DST is seeking experienced FDM consultants who are willing to travel in the Northeast Region (CT, NY, NJ, PA and DE). Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience working with Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools and a minimum of 5 years of progressive IT project experience. Previous finance experience is helpful. Responsibilities: The consultant may work alone, as part of a DST team or as part of a client managed project team to implement FDM as a stand-alone project or as part of Hyperion Planning or HFM based solutions across many different industries and will help DST clients to maximize the return on their technology investments. Specific responsibilities include: Gathering and analyzing business requirements Participating in determining standards and best practices as related to data integration and translation processes Facilitating the Software Project Lifecycle process Designing and implementing FDM implementations involving a variety of source and destination systems Tuning and optimizing existing FDM applications End user training and knowledge transfer to the client support teams Required Technical Skills/Experience: At least 3 years of FDM implementation experience Overall 5 yrs+ IT experience At least 2 years+ consulting experience preferred Experience with FDM v9.x.x and/or FDM v11.x.x required Demonstrated capability to architect, design and build all aspects of an FDM implementation including creating and managing locations, logic groups, logic accounts, financial controls, validation rules, etc. Demonstrated capability to successfully integrate Hyperion EPM products with Oracle and other third party GL applications Solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to work with Oracle PL/SQL and/or Microsoft T-SQL Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Unix operating systems Strong understanding of DOS Command and Unix shell scripting languages Proficiency with VB Script is required Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) experience is helpful Other Requirements: Solid understanding and experience with one or more structured software project lifecycle methodologies Ability to understand and document business requirements Experience in data quality issues and ability to investigate and resolve data validation issues Strong command of the English language Ability to interface with clients at all levels within an organization Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to provide input into project plans including defining tasks and estimating level of effort Ability to prioritize and work independently Ability to identify project risks and determine when escalation of issues is necessary Excellent time management skills and ability to track and report time accurately and timely Readiness to travel if need (travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends) preferred
