We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated Order Entry Associate to join our Engineering team in Central Islip. Position OverviewThe Order Entry Associate plays a key role in supporting our Engineering Department by accurately entering quotes and orders into FeneVision. This position ensures that custom orders are processed with precision, helping maintain production accuracy and high customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to clarify order details and keep workflows moving smoothly from start to finish. Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Processing & Data EntryEnter quotes and production orders into FeneVision (basic to intermediate complexity) Review and acknowledge orders entered by team members Generate supplemental installation sheets as needed Verify accuracy of all order details before release Escalate complex or unclear items to senior team members Customer CommunicationCommunicate with customers via phone and email to gather missing details Clarify product specifications and provide order updates Route technical questions to the appropriate team Internal CollaborationCoordinate with Customer Success and Engineering teams Support operations during high-volume periods Identify and report discrepancies or potential issues What We're Looking For12 years of experience in order entry, administrative work, or manufacturing support (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Bonus Skills (Not Required)Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (Fusion360 or similar) Experience reading drawings or specifications Why Join Us?Paid training and growth opportunities Supportive, team-oriented environment Hands-on experience in a thriving manufacturing company Benefits401(k) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Job Type: Full-time Location: Central Islip, NY If you're detail-driven, eager to learn, and ready to build a career, we'd love to hear from you.
