About the job Lube Driver (HazMat)Position SummaryResponsible for the delivery of products to include accountability for shipments of products at the receipt of inventory, operating a safe work environment, tracking maintenance of vehicles, and various other duties. (HazMat required) (TWIC a plus)Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Ensure orders are delivered in a safe and timely mannerUtilize tools and technology provided in an effective and efficient manner.Abide by all DOT and HazMat rules and regulationsManage delivery expenses and timeMaintain regular attendance and follows designated safety practices.Ensure a safe working environment and promptly reports any safety accidents or violations to the proper management.Maintain professional image of self and vehicle.Develop and maintain necessary skills to be successfulDevelop and maintain mechanical knowledge to be responsible for ensuring proper pre-trip and post-trip checklists are complete and vehicle is in safe operating order.Develop and maintain products and services related to the industry.Ensure all mandatory paperwork is completed in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Must have good communication skillsMaintain required commercial driving license with appropriate HazMat endorsements and operate vehicle in a safe manner.Maintain knowledge of and follows DOT rules and regulations, terminal policy and procedures, and any other regulations as required.Follow all DNR, EPA and Safety guidelines while loading and unloading. Physical Demands and Work Environment Will be exposed to plant production development, indoors and outdoorsExposed to elements cold, heat and humidityRegularly required walking, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, bending and moving about the yard/facility.Must be able to lift 50lbsMay handle potentially hazardous equipment and materialsOccasional testing of equipmentWork well aloneMust exhibit flexibility, good attitude and dependability
