Business Development Representative

Aurigo is looking for a driven Business Development Representative (SDR) to support the growth of Aurigo Essentials, our cloud-based capital project solution designed for small and mid-sized local governments. This is an in-office role based in Austin, TX.What You’ll DoGenerate and qualify new business opportunities for Aurigo Essentials through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-upEngage with public sector agencies (local governments) to identify pain points and introduce Aurigo EssentialsPartner closely with Account Executives to build and manage a strong sales pipelineConduct discovery conversations and schedule qualified meetings and product demosResearch target accounts and navigate public sector organizations and procurement processesMaintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management in SalesforceCollaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and messagingWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:Must-Have:1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or SaaS salesStrong communication skills with the ability to engage and qualify prospectsHighly motivated, organized, and results-drivenAbility to manage multiple outreach efforts and maintain pipeline disciplineNice-to-Have:Experience selling into or working with public sector or government clientsFamiliarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern sales toolsUnderstanding of infrastructure, capital projects, or SaaS solutionsAbout AurigoAurigo is an AI‑native capital program management platform trusted by over 300 customers managing more than $300 billion in capital programs across North America.
